2. Philadelphia 76ers

Philly paid J.J. Redick $23 million last season. The team could easily pay Ellington less than half that amount and receive if not the same volume roughly the same efficiency. More importantly, the money saved in signing a player like Ellington would increase Philly’s chances of paying a LeBron James or Kawhi Leonard. Ellington isn’t better than Redick, but he could make room for someone who is.
