Klay Thompson may have won three NBA championships in four years, but his short game could use some work.

Realistically, the Golden State Warriors don’t have much to worry about this offseason. That is, of course, unless they decide to trust Klay Thompson’s ability to put the ball in the hole…on the golf course.

In a video posted Saturday by @TheRenderNBA, the 6-foot-7 shooting guard is shown struggling mightily on the greens while touring through China to help endorse Anta, the Chinese sneaker company for which he has a signature shoe.

Was he in his own head about a potential contender forming out in Tinsle Town?

“Okay Klay, if you miss this putt Lebron’s going to be a Laker … darn.”

“Don’t sweat it Klay, no pressure, but if you miss this one Paul George is going there … uh oh.”

“Okay Klay, you really can’t miss this one, otherwise they’ll get Kawhi too … DAMNIT!!!”

This isn’t the first we’ve seen of Thompson overseas in 2018. He was just recently filmed getting demolished in Pop-A-Shot, and then there was that pretty unsettling video of him dancing during a promo day to some Chinese rap.

He was in China last summer too, doing everything from trying new foods to botching 360-dunks in front of hundreds of his biggest fans, something no NBA fan will soon forget.

Klay Thompson has one of the best personalities in the entire NBA, that paired with having a shoe deal with a company based in China will always result in some pretty amazing videos. However, no matter how much fun he has in the offseason, or the implications his short game may have on free agency, Thompson and the Warriors will be the favorites to win the 2019 NBA Finals.
