Neymar Challenge found its way onto Wimbledon doubles match

During a doubles match at Wimbledon, one pair made fun of Neymar’s diving antics with a theatrical show that even he would’ve been impressed with.
Of the four majors, Wimbledon is always the biggest tournament of the year. But this year, it unfortunately coincided with the World Cup, which has made it fly under-the-radar. It’s a shame, since this is one of the most entertaining Wimbledons in a long time. Lots of favorites have fallen early, Novak Djokovic’s comeback tour has been gripping and Kevin Anderson played an entire match’s worth of extra tennis just to get to the Final.
While this year’s Wimbledon has been more low-key than usual, the doubles matches always get very little coverage. With all the big stars competing in the singles tournament, there isn’t much interest to see who wins the doubles competition, but there is the odd moment where it produces something unforgettable.
This recent match saw this player accidentally hit his partner in the back of a head with a serve. He responded, in kind, by flopping around on the tennis court like Neymar:

Ever since Neymar and Brazil got eliminated in the World Cup, fans went crazy with the Neymar Challenge. His diving drew the ire of many people, so seeing Brazil fall short of their goal while their star player finished with just two goals satisfied a lot of people.
Judging by the crowd’s reaction, their theatrics were a big hit, and they even went an extra step over the other Neymar Challenge videos by performing CPR.

After seeing their tournament get overshadowed constantly by the World Cup, it had to feel good for these players to get this joke in. And since it was a doubles match, it was slightly inconsequential, which allowed them to have fun during what was supposed to be a serious competition.
