4. D.J. Moore, WR, Carolina Panthers

I love this guy. He was the only player that made the Maryland Terrapins watchable this season. Moore put up 1,033 yards on 80 catches with eight touchdowns to boot. But what’s most impressive is that he did that all while dealing with a quarterback carousel. Moore caught passes from five different Maryland quarterbacks in 2017, a feat that deserves serious recognition.

Now making the transition to the NFL and a competent quarterback in Cam Newton, Moore has the chance to have a more consistent source of targets. Pairing up next to Devin Funchess and tight end Greg Olsen, Moore will find himself as an afterthought on most defenses, as they’ll look towards the other two. With his incredible hands and jumping ability, Moore can catch passes that might’ve been out of reach by any other wideout.

The volume may not be there in his rookie season but if Funchess falls off the radar for an extended period, Moore will be there to pick up the scraps. He can be a solid WR2 or flex option if you are in a deep league.
