Los Angeles Chargers – Mike Williams

The Los Angeles Chargers are always a good team on paper. However, they have struggled to live up to expectations in the last few seasons. Whether to injury or some other unfortunate circumstance, the Chargers manage to mess up there chances at the playoffs. This year, the Chargers hope to break the curse, but are already off to a tough start with injury.

Williams played last season hurt. After a full recovery and a year of learning the system, Williams looks to live up to expectation. Easily the best wide receiver available in last year’s draft, Mike Williams is a good route runner with very good size. Standing 6-foot-4, he is a big target in the middle of the field and is a tough player to match up against. I look for Williams to have a breakout season for the Chargers.

Los Angeles Rams – Tyler Higbee

The Rams have built a juggernaut on paper. The defense looks better, the offense looks better. The Los Angeles Rams are looking at this season as a boom or bust kind of year. Signing Ndamukong Suh and trading for Marcus Peters looks very good, but it will be interesting to see how defense plays together as a unit. Furthermore, Brandin Cooks was brought in from New England and will make the offense more dangerous.

With all the weapons that the Rams have on offense, look for Tyler Higbee to surprise a lot of people. Higbee is entering his third season with the Rams and has looked improved every year up to this point. He is an athletic player with soft hands who I think could score some fantasy points in the middle of the field.
