2. Arizona Coyotes at St. Louis Blues: March 12, 2019

Back-to-back games are massively important toward the end of the season; probably way more important than they are earlier in an NHL season.

Arizona gets a major chance to do some damage that could benefit them against both the Blues and the Chicago Blackhawks, whom they play the night before. Three points and then days in between gives other teams a chance to leap farther forward, which puts more pressure on clubs with games on hand to get the job done.

Basically, six points is up for grabs towards a pressing time of the postseason hunt. Chicago looks to be a franchise heading for a rebuild, so if the paper looks correct, the Hawks might be out of it by this time.

The real test will be the Blues. St. Louis will feed off of the leftovers that the Blackhawks will give to Arizona the night before. Plus, the Blues are another club within the Central Division trying to get one last shot at the postseason before tearing down the roster.

The Coyotes needs to tear down their roster themselves. It will put the bullies of the past few years in the past while setting a new light on the horizon for the Coyotes to leap into.
