Minnesota Vikings – Randy Moss

The Minnesota Vikings were established back in 1960, and played in the AFL until the merger in 1970. One of the more recognizable franchises in all of football thanks to their purple uniforms, the Vikings won the AFL Championship back in 1969.

Over the course of their franchise history, they have made it to the playoffs 27 times, which is the third-highest mark in all of football. Though they made it to four Super Bowls as well, they have never won the big one, despite having some generational talent on their rosters.

One player who has to be considered a generational  talent is Randy Moss, who came out of Marshall University and dominated the football landscape, even as a rookie. He teamed with guys like Daunte Culpepper and Chris Carter to give the Vikings a formidable passing game, and it led to many wins during his time with the team.

The jersey to have is the classic purple that the team wore during those Moss years, and the memories of him streaking up the sidelines as a purple blur are all-time images for the franchise. He played his way into the Hall of Fame during his Vikings days, and those jerseys are Hall of Famers in my book.

Minnesota made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game last season, and some believe that their roster is even better in 2018. Kirk Cousins will be expected to get them over that last hump, and with a solid group of wide receivers, he could be in for his most productive season of his career.
