Buffalo Bills – Jim Kelly

The Buffalo Bills franchise began in the 1960 season, where they were a member of the AFL. Buffalo stayed in the AFL until the 1970 season, when they joined the NFL, and became a member of the AFC East.

Since then, the Bills have had a pretty interesting history, as they were so good from the late 1980s through the 90s, and then failed to make the playoffs for 18 years. During their glory days, the team was led by Hall of Famers in Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, and Bruce Smith, who all played key roles in leading them to four straight Super Bowls.

The sad part for Bills fans is that in all four of those years, the Bills came out on the losing end of the biggest game of the year. Still, they owned the AFC for nearly half a decade, and it is during that time span that they had their best jerseys in the history of the franchise.

Not only were these jerseys the best looking, but if you want to buy one of them, there is no shortage of all-time Bills you can get. The Bills made the playoffs in 1999, and  changed their look in 2001. Up until the 2017 season, they had never made it back to the playoffs.

The Bills will be looking to get back to the playoffs for a second straight year for the first time since the 1998 and ’99 seasons, but they have their work cut out for them. They drafted Josh Allen in the first round back in April, and the hope is he can be their first franchise quarterback since Kelly was leading the team to Super Bowls.
