Cleveland Browns – Ozzie Newsome

The Cleveland Browns were one of the charter members of the AAFC and joined the NFL back in 1950. Over the course of their first run in Cleveland, the Browns had some memorable teams, and actually won four NFL championships before the merger with the AFL.

During the late 1980s, the Browns were the elite team in the AFC, as they went to the conference championship three times in four years. In total, the Browns made the playoffs in every season from 1985-89,  though they have never actually been to a Super Bowl before.

After the 1995 season, the Browns owner, Art Modell, decided to move his team to Baltimore, but leave all the records in Cleveland. In 1999, the Browns were reborn, though there has been little to no success since. In fact, they have had only two winning seasons since then.

During their glory days of the late 1980s, the Browns wore brown jerseys, and those are the ones to have for any Browns fans. They are certainly simple, but donning a Bernie Kosar, or Ozzie Newsome jersey from that time looks sharp, and you usually see thousands of them on Sundays in Cleveland.

The 2018 Browns should be much improved over last season, and it would be hard not to, as the team did not win a single game. In fact, they have won one regular season game over the last two years, but they have some young talent, and hopefully for Browns fans, all of these early draft picks will start to pay off.
