Week 14: SEC Championship Game – Atlanta, GA.

Conference Championship Weekend is the biggest Saturday in college football. It helps shape the College Football Playoff, which is announced the next day. In Week 14, College GameDay will be at the site of one of these games.

The two best bets here are either Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game, or Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship Game. If the SEC Championship Game sets up to be a rematch of the National Championship Game between Georgia and Alabama, then that’s the best bet.

Neither Alabama or Georgia play each other in the regular season, so if they win the SEC West and East respectively, they’ll be on a collision course to meet each other at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Everyone thought these two were going to meet for the SEC Championship last season, but Auburn winning the Iron Bowl prevented that from happening. There’s always the chance of Auburn and Georgia squaring off again.

One thing is for sure and that is anything can happen in the SEC. This game will definitely carry College Football Playoff implications and that means that College GameDay could very well end up in Atlanta during Week 14.
