Week 15: Dec. 8 – Army vs. Navy (Philadelphia, PA)

Before bowl season begins, the last week of the regular season always belongs to the battle between Army and Navy. Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, will once again play host to the two programs.

College football has long been about tradition and this is about as traditional as it gets. The two have had some great games over the years, but it’s the memorable moments that have happened on and off the field that have defined it.

Army finally breaking the losing streak in 2016, and the cadets celebrating on the field afterward created for one of the most talked about moments in college football. From Presidents to Vice Presidents, dignitaries of all offices have been on hand to view this game. Both sides also wear new uniforms that honor the military traditions or moments that happened in their branch’s history.

By this point in the season, everyone knows the College Football Playoff and who’s playing where in bowl season. That’s why it’s always special in Week 15 because the weekend belongs to Army and Navy.

If there’s anything that can be taken for certain, it’s that the 2018 rendition of the event will feature yet another memorable moment. College GameDay will, of course, be live for the battle between the two service academies.
