Denver Nuggets — Trey Parker and Matt Stone

The state of Colorado has a lot of great things to offer. There are few things better than waking up, looking out your window, and having the beautiful Rocky Mountains staring back at you. Take a drive through those mountains and there is another world entirely to discover.

Colorado is also lucky enough to have each of the four major professional sports represented, with the Denver Broncos (football), Colorado Rockies (baseball), Avalanche (hockey), and Nuggets.

Colorado also has South Park.

Beginning back in 1997, animated sitcom South Park is 21 seasons in. The show was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, both of whom grew up in Colorado. Already deeply rooted in the state, Parker and Stone saw no reason but to base the show out of Colorado as well.

The duo is busy continuing to make South Park, but they have made time to appear at Nuggets games over the years. They have also made sure to put some Nuggets content in the show, including a reference of a fan previously mentioned on this list.

The Nuggets have returned the favor, using the show’s star Cartman to rile-up the home crowd before tip-off.

Parker and Stone aren’t the biggest celebrities, and they aren’t the biggest Nuggets fans, either. But for the sake of the list, we’ll have to agree they are the biggest celebrity fans of the Nuggets, as depressing as that may seem.
