Loser: USC Trojans (No. 22 to unranked)

If you’re USC, you still have to feel good about the future under center with JT Daniels. He played in his second straight tough road game and has yet to throw a touchdown pass away from Los Angeles, but the freshman gunslinger had over 300 yards against Texas and made one mistake — an interception.

Still, the Trojans were blown out by the Longhorns in Austin just two weeks after Texas struggled with the hapless Maryland Terrapins.

If there’s one thing we know about Texas it’s that we know nothing at all.

As for the Trojans, they dropped out of the rankings completely, joining fellow Pac-12 South squad Arizona State which could also be considered a loser this week for a San Diego State defeat and drop from the AP Top 25.

The Trojans need a turnaround after the tough loss to drop to 1-2 and they could rely heavily on the arm of Daniels — which may not be the best thing.

The freshman has some pressure on his shoulders.
