4. Georgia (-14) at Missouri

Through the first three games of the 2018 college football season, the Georgia Bulldogs have done nothing but prove that they are deserving of their position as the second-ranked team in the country. They’ve beaten the tar out of the two cupcakes that they’ve faced, Austin Peay and Middle Tennessee State, but also went on the road to face South Carolina and emphatically handled the Gamecocks in that one, winning 41-17.

Now the Bulldogs are heading on the road in Week 4 to take on Drew Lock and the Missouri Tigers. The Mizzou quarterback is one of the nation’s best passers and has shown that to this point with 1,062 yards, 11 touchdowns and just one interception through three games this season. With him at the helm, this offense is explosive and is largely why the line sits at 14 points, in addition to the Tigers being at home for this one.

Having said that, I just don’t see the Tigers having the ability to keep this one that close. Lock and the Missouri offense will likely find some success, simply because they are that talented of a group. Having said that, the Georgia defense is still capable of coming up with stops against any team in the country, regardless of talent.

Meanwhile, the same can’t be said of the Missouri defense. After allowing 37 points to Purdue last week, I have no faith in the Tigers’ ability to stop Georgia at any point in this game. As such, this one should be relatively high-scoring, but I don’t think the Bulldogs let this one within two touchdowns on Saturday afternoon.
