2. Arnautovic leads West Ham to victory over Chelsea

One of the biggest shocks in the Premier League last weekend was West Ham’s win over Everton at Goodison. The Hammers finally produced for Manuel Pellegrini and their impressive performance was led by Marko Arnautovic.

Arnautovic is a player with huge potential, but who has often been criticized for his lack of consistency. In a West Ham shirt, he’s slowly turning this perception of him around and becoming the player his teammates turn to in order to make something happen in a game.

This weekend Pellegrini’s side have the extremely difficult task of hosting an unbeaten Chelsea side at the London Stadium. Last week, Hammers fans would have been terrified of this fixture but they may feel quietly confident this weekend.

West Ham didn’t lose to Chelsea last season either, winning their home fixture and managing a draw at Stamford Bridge. Provided Pellegrini’s team can remain defensively sound in the game’s opening, they can definitely take all three points in this match.

Chelsea are looking better as each week goes by and it’s difficult to write off any team that Eden Hazard plays for right now. The Belgian’s form has been sensational, highlighted by a hat-trick against Cardiff last weekend.

Points are the necessity for Pellegrini and West Ham right now but Arnautovic will come up with something special this weekend and maintain the Hammers unbeaten run against Chelsea.
