29. Josh Allen (LW: 31)

Allen earned his first win in the NFL with a stunning 27-6 triumph over the Vikings. Allen wasn’t great, going 15-of-22 for 196 yards and a touchdown, but he did more than enough to take care of business. If he avoid turnovers, Allen has a chance to succeed with the Bills.

28. Blake Bortles (LW: 24)

Bortles can’t play consistent football, which is why he ranks so low. One week, he throws for 377 yards and four touchdowns against the Patriots. Then, on Sunday, the Jaguars score a measly six points while Bortles is completing 21-of-34 passes for 155 yards. That’s never going to cut it when the chips are down in January.

27. Marcus Mariota (LW: NA)

At what point do we start talking about Mariota being a bust? Drafted with the second-overall pick back in 2015, Mariota has a grand total of 9,679 passing yards with 58 touchdowns and 36 interceptions. This year? The Hawaiian has 203 yards and zero scores with two picks. Not looking like a banner season.

26. Sam Darnold (LW: 25)

Darnold will be a good quarterback. He has the requisite arm talent, he’s a smart kid and he’s built to last in the league. Still, almost everybody goes through rookie struggles, and Darnold is dealing with them currently. The Jets could also help out by blocking somebody, but let’s not expect too much.
