25. Case Keenum (LW: 22)

Keenum has to stop turning the ball over. Five interceptions in three games is exactly what Denver was hoping to avoid when it signed him to a two-year deal, replacing the triumvirate of Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler and Paxton Lynch. The raw stats show an average quarterback, and frankly, that’s being kind.

24. Dak Prescott (LW: 20)

Prescott has been terrible since his rookie season. At some point, the system stops being the main reason and the attention turns behind center. Prescott has 498 yards on 5.66 yards per attempt through three games, and dating back to the start of 2017, has notched only eight affairs in which he has eclipsed 200 passing yards. Brutal.

23. Joe Flacco (LW: 27)

Flacco is off to a good start this year, throwing for 889 yards and six touchdowns with only two interceptions. So why this low on the list? He was excellent against the Bills and Broncos (at home) and middling at best against the Bengals. Prove you can do it against some good competition.

22. Eli Manning (LW: 28)

Manning played splendid football against the Texans, effectively ending Houston’s season and saving New York’s. The two-time champion threw for 297 yards and a pair of scores while hitting on 25-of-29 attempts. He’ll have plenty more bad games this season because consistency and Eli don’t mesh well, but this was a high-water mark.

21. Baker Mayfield (LW: NA)

It was one half, but damn, Mayfield was slinging it. The Browns finally won a game, the first-overall pick from April’s draft threw for 201 yards on 23 attempts, and he looked the part and then some. If he can go to Oakland and slice up the Raiders, Cleveland will be rolling as it heads into October.
