Start: Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit Lions

The Dallas Cowboys are looking for an offensive spark and Ezekiel Elliott is the man to deliver. Elliott is coming off a solid performance against the Seattle Seahawks and is ready to bust out. Facing the Detroit Lions might be exactly what the doctor orders.

Despite playing better against the New England Patriots, the Lions have really struggled to shut down the opponents running game. They are allowing an average slightly below 150 yards per game.

The Cowboys offensive attack runs through Elliott. Even more could be put on Elliott’s shoulders if the Cowboys don’t find a way to spark the passing attack.

Sit: Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos

While Patrick Mahomes is lighting the world on fire, Kareen Hunt has come out of the gates slow. He is averaging just over three yards per carry with a season-long carry of just 16 yards. The Kansas City Chiefs are just more focused on keeping Mahomes hot right now.

Eventually, the thought is that Mahomes success would open more running room for Hunt. The opposing defensive coordinators need to adjust their coverage to shut down the passing attack. If not Mahomes will continue to take advantage.

The Denver Broncos are a defense that might not need to make much adjustments. They have a strong secondary and a pass rush capable of rattling Mahomes.
