Todd Gurley +750

This bet was so much better just two weeks ago. Todd Gurley has been rocketing up the boards, and is now the fourth best odds to win the award, and the best of the non-quarterbacks. Gurley is leading his Los Angeles Rams team to a perfect 4-0 record, and is the driving force of this offense.

His yards per attempt don’t look great, but voters will appreciate his workload. Jared Goff may take some votes away from him, which causes Gurley to drop overall in the rankings. He’s still been very good.

We won’t look at the stats, per se, because he has one more game than everyone else in the league. However, he needs to get his stats up. 4.3 yards per carry is not nearly enough, and four touchdowns needs to be closer to 20-22 by the end of the season.

If the Rams go 15-1, or even undefeated, the voters will be looking for someone to vote on to win this award on this team. Goff could do enough, but he’s not even considered the best quarterback in his draft class. That will hurt him in the long run.
