Alvin Kamara +3300

My goodness this is a big number for Alvin Kamara. Drew Brees is coming in at 6.5/1, but Kamara is 33/1? That’s an insane difference if you ask me. Kamara has 67 touches for 430 yards and three touchdowns in three games. He’s averaging close to 10 yards per reception, and is Brees’ security blanket on nearly every play.

Many predicted Kamara to fall off as he took on more of the load with Mark Ingram suspended for the first four games of the season. The extra work has not effected him in a negative way. He’s taken on the brunt of the offense and still excels.

Kamara is a running back, so he has to go above and beyond the normal great season to win the MVP. To put himself in consideration for this award, Kamara will need to break 1,000 yards in rushing and receiving for him to make a real case to win MVP. That’s only been done twice in league history, once by Marshall Faulk and once by Roger Craig.
