The college football season is headed into Week 7 and the AP Top 25 has been released. Which teams come away as the biggest winners and losers?

The 2018 season is trucking along and we’ve reached the midway point as Week 7 is officially upon us. College football is starting to heat up as the playoff contenders are starting to take shape and the pretenders are wilting away in the rankings.

The newest AP Top 25 has been released and the winners and losers are quite evident.

In a week that saw a multitude of upsets in the top 10, you can just imagine that the newest edition of the AP Poll has a new look.

Missed the weekend that was? Well, you missed an underrated slate of games such as LSU vs. Florida, Auburn vs. Mississippi State, Texas vs. Oklahoma and Kentucky vs. Texas A&M, among others.

First off, the LSU Tigers were unable to steal one on the road against Florida to remain red-hot, while the Gators have reeled off four straight victories. Auburn was expecting a win at Mississippi State in Week 6, but the Bulldogs were too much to handle — namely Nick Fitzgerald was too much.

Oklahoma and Kentucky’s noon kickoff Red River Showdown was the game of the week, arguably. The Sooners were the favorite but the Longhorns shocked everyone with a last-second victory after watching a 21-point second-half lead disappear.

Lastly, Texas A&M was able to tough out a win in a defensive battle over No. 13 undefeated Kentucky. The Aggies look to be headed in the right direction with Jimbo Fisher at the helm.

Who are this week’s biggest winners and losers?
