(7) Washington at (17) Oregon – 3:30 p.m. ET – ABC/ESPN2

Oregon will look to keep their Pac-12 title hopes alive when Washington travels to Autzen Stadium this weekend.

Washington enters the game as a three-point favorite and has dominated the Ducks over the past seasons, winning the games by a combined 84 points. Quarterback Jake Browning has led the Huskies offense, but the ground game has been the difference over their five game winning streak.

However, it will be the Huskies top-15 defense that will need to perform this weekend. If Washington plans to leave with a victory, they must improve on the defensive line and disrupt the quarterback. The offense should have no problem finding the end-zone, but if the defense can’t slow down the high powered Oregon offense, they could be playing from behind early.

Oregon has long been known for their zone-read offense, but has made a successful switch to the pistol formation this year. Quarterback Justin Herbert is playing some of the best football in the country and looks to add to his Heisman campaign with a statement victory this weekend. If the Oregon offensive line can keep Herbert clean and allow him to dissect the Huskies defense, the Ducks should have no trouble jumping out to a quick lead on Saturday.

However, if they are able to secure the lead, they cannot let up, because Washington has the weapons to quickly turn the script if the Ducks let down their guard. Oregon is the underdog at home, but I expect Autzen Stadium to be rocking and the Ducks to win outright at home.
