(15) Wisconsin at (12) Michigan – 7:30 p.m. ET – ABC

Whether your a fan or not, there is just something special about watching a game played in the Big House. When Michigan hosts Wisconsin under the lights, the atmosphere will give fans a glimpse of what makes college football so special.

Wisconsin enters the game at 4-1 and has achieved their record in typical Badger fashion… by pounding the rock. On the year, the Badgers have out-rushed all five of their opponents, including a 370-yard performance against Nebraska last weekend. Sophomore running back Jonathan Taylor has racked up 849 yards rushing with eight touchdowns through five games and is one of the most electric players in the country. However, the Wisconsin defense has looked less than impressive at times and will need to elevate their play to leave the Big House with a victory.

Michigan comes into the game with one loss, against Notre Dame, but has yet to be challenged since the opening weekend. Former Ole Miss quarterback Shea Patterson has led the Wolverine offense and has put together some strong performances along the way, but the defense has been the most impressive unit this season.

They have held opponents to 230 yards per game, which leads the nation and have allowed only 15.8 points per game in the process. The Wolverines have yet to allow an opposing player top 100 yards rushing but will have their hands full with Taylor this weekend. If they can manage to keep Taylor and the Badgers rushing attack in check, they should put themselves in position to take down Wisconsin at home on Saturday.

While both offenses have put up big numbers throughout the season, don’t expect a high scoring affair. The Michigan defense should be able to slow down the Badgers on the ground and come away with a slim victory on Saturday.
