4. Back the Bears -3 at Miami

We’re not huge believers in MItch Trubisky, but we are pretty confident in Matt Nagy’s ability to outscheme the opposing defense. That’s why we like Chicago despite the fact that they’re going on the road.

The game script for the Bears should be pretty obvious. They want to sprint out to an early lead on the strength of Nagy’s scripted plays. That’s where Trubisky can really get rolling. Look for Chicago to jump on the Dolphins early in the first quarter.

When they do that, it makes their defense almost impossible to play against. The addition of Khalil Mack to the Chicago front line has made the group one of the toughest matchups in the NFL. Miami doesn’t have enough offensive line talent to keep Ryan Tannehill clean in this one.

This is a game you can consider teasing if you’re feeling bold. The margin between 3 and 6.5 in this game isn’t all that much when it comes to the wager. Tease it out to just under a touchdown and see if you can make some serious money.

Betting on Trubisky is always a risk, but so is counting on Tannehill to overcome Chicago’s monster defense.
