3. Bet on the Falcons -3.5 vs. Tampa Bay

The Falcons defense is atrocious, but the Buccaneers group isn’t much better. That’s why we’re willing to give Atlanta the benefit of the doubt this week. They’re due for a win and playing Tampa Bay a home seems like a great opportunity.

Remember, the Falcons offense has continued to play solid football all season long. Calvin Ridley has exploded over the last several weeks to take a lot of pressure off of Julio Jones in the passing game.

We have a sneaky suspicion that this might be the week where Jones reminds us that he’s still one of the top five wideouts in the NFL.

None of this means the Buccaneers aren’t going to score points. Jameis Winston is far from a perfect quarterback, but he does have a huge arm that can stretch the field. Chances are, he’ll make several big plays against the backup safeties that are killing Atlanta’s defense.

Winston is also a signal caller who is prone to turning the football over. That’s what we believe will cost the Buccaneers this football game. Atlanta’s defense isn’t any good, but look for them to get a few interceptions to turn this game in their favor.

Back the Falcons to win a reasonably close game at home.
