3. Jacksonville Jaguars

Last week the Jaguars got absolutely demolished by a very mediocre Dallas Cowboys team. After an embarrassing loss like that, the Jaguars need to come out swinging against the Houston Texans and I expect them to do just that. Jalen Ramsey and company will be a force on the defensive side of the ball and will undoubtedly make Deshaun Watson’s day a living nightmare.

The defense has been good so far this season, only really having a bad showing last week. However, the offense has been very inconsistent. Which, for a unit led by Blake Bortles, makes complete sense.

The absence of Leonard Fournette is extremely apparent, and that is no knock on T.J. Yeldon who has played well in his absence. Fournette is just a special player that can change the game with one touch of the ball. With him out of the lineup, the offense becomes too reliant on the pass which is never good with Bortles under center.

This divisional game carries even more weight as there is currently a three-way tie for first place in the AFC South. The Jaguars, Titans and Texans are all 3-3 with the Colts bringing up the rear at 1-5. If the Jaguars take care of business at home there is a strong chance that they emerge as the division leader heading into Week 8.
