High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Ben Simmons (vs ORL – $11,100): Needs 47.2 fantasy points. Simmons is off to a very hot start to the season, going over 50 fantasy points in both games. He gets another great matchup on Saturday when the Sixers meet the Magic. Not only are the Magic not a great team, but they’re on the road and playing in a back-to-back. Simmons puts up numbers in all categories and has the ability to explode when it comes to rebounding. Plus, he chips in defensively. Diagnosis: Given the matchup and his talent, he’s the top option on the night.

John Wall (vs TOR – $9,700): Needs 41.3 fantasy points. Wall had 52.1 fantasy points to start the season against the Heat. Toronto is a tough team, but they are on a back-to-back and on the road. Wall, even when he struggles, is a guy who is going to put up numbers. I expect no different when the Wizards meet the Raptors. Diagnosis: He’ll get his points and assists without much worry. The matchup might be tough, but Wall typically delivers against good teams.

Kyrie Irving (at NY – $7,800): Needs 33.2 fantasy points. Irving bounced back after a clunker on opening night with 36.8 fantasy points against the Raptors on Friday. Both teams are on a back-to-back, although the Knicks are at home. Still, the Celtics are a much better team than the Knicks and should be able to overwhelm them with talent. Irving has the highest ceiling of anyone on Boston due to his scoring and he always puts on a show against New York. Diagnosis: Irving typically feels it in the Garden. Saturday will be no different.
