High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Jimmy Butler (at DAL – $9,600): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. Butler is doing what everyone expected Butler to do. He’s going to put the team on his back, which is actually code for him doing whatever he wants if it means getting his numbers. Dallas’ defense didn’t look good against the Suns. Minnesota’s offense isn’t good, but Butler is excellent and takes a lot of offensive responsibility. Diagnosis: Excellent matchup for a guy who is going to continue to look for his.

Devin Booker (at DEN – $8,700): Needs 36 fantasy points. Booker is scary on offense right now. He can not only score at every level, but he’s now the primary point guard, so his assist numbers are jumping up. The Nuggets defense remains a question mark and the Suns offense looked as good as it’s looked since the days of Steve Nash. Booker is a big reason why. Diagnosis: Point Booker is going to be a DFS force this year. Get him while his salary is still reasonable.

Caris LeVert (at IND – $7,400): Needs 30.6 fantasy points. LeVert is on fire to start the season. He had 40.8 fantasy points against the Pistons on opening night and followed that up with 38.7 fantasy points against the Knicks on Friday. Both teams are back-to-backs, although the Nets are on the road. LeVert is hot from the field and does just enough with his rebounding and passing to boost his value. Diagnosis: The Pacers defense is questionable. Ride the hot hand and possibly the best player in Brooklyn.
