Kordell Stewart Division
25. Eli Manning (LW: 24)
Eli is so done it’s impossible to adequate describe. The Giants should have taken Sam Darnold and started the long rebuild that’s undoubtedly coming. Instead, 1-6 with an ancient, decaying quarterback.
24. Mitchell Trubisky (LW: 19)
Trubisky threw for 333 yards against the Patriots, but he was brutal in the 38-31 loss to the Patriots. The Bears can’t win if Trubisky is missing open receivers downfield, hesitant in the pocket and generally unaware of holes in the coverage. Chicago has plenty of talent around the second-year quarterback, and he’s got to take advantage of it.
23. Marcus Mariota (LW: 26)
Mariota was given chance after chance to beat the Chargers on Sunday and he couldn’t do it. Part of his failures are worn by the receivers, tight ends and coaching staff, but ultimately, he’s got to make a few throws and stop being a watered-down version of Alex Smith. We’re through seven games, and Mariota has three touchdowns and five interceptions, going for 6.87 yards per attempt.
22. Jameis Winston (LW: 22)
Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. Take care of the damn ball.
21. Derek Carr (LW: 23)
Carr has to be wondering what the hell happened. Amari Cooper was traded to the Cowboys on Monday, and while the haul is considerable, it basically leaves Carr all by himself in this geriatric ward.
