3. Bet on the Chiefs -10 vs. Denver

Some of you might be tired of the Patrick Mahomes hype train at this point of the season. We’ve got some bad news for you. It isn’t going to stock anytime soon. Mahomes is going to be the face of the NFL for a long time.

Broncos fans would like to believe their defense has the pass rush to cool him off. They don’t. Von Miller is not enjoying a good season. There are quiet whispers in Denver that he may be starting to decline. He’s still a really good edge rusher, but he hasn’t dominated a game this season.

Bradley Chubb has been hit or miss on the other side. He flashes some real ability, but he’s not a consistent threat. In other words, Mahomes is going to have time to throw in this game.

That means the Chiefs are going to put up points. There’s no guarantee the Broncos will do the same with Case Keenum at the controls. He managed not to wander into anyone else’s home this week, so he’ll presumably get the start.

This game might stay close for a while, but the fact that it’s in Kansas City makes a blowout a real possibility. If you want to get adventurous, tease this line out to 13.5 and see if you can make some serious coin. More conservative bettors should feel just fine sticking at -10.
