4. The New York Jets keep Trey Burton in check

Trey Burton is coming off his best game as a Chicago Bears hauling in nine passes, for 126 yards and a touchdown. He also saw a season-high 11 targets from Mitch Trubisky. Burton is someone Chicago wants to get more involved in the offense and is starting the gel with his young quarterback.

Look for the Bears to try to get Burton involved early this week against the New York Jets. However, that could prove to be a tough task.

The Jets feature talented safeties and quick linebackers. Jamal Adams, Marcus Maye, Darron Lee and Avery Williamson all possess the skills to hold up well against a pass catching tight end. New York will obviously make sure to pay extra attention to Burton after last week.

Another factor working against Burton is that the Bears may want to scale things down for Trubisky. Last week, he attempted a season high 50 passes and struggled with his accuracy.

Chicago and Matt Nagy could decide to turn to the running game to take some pressure off their young quarterback. The Bears running game has yet to find its rhythm and this week could be a great opportunity to change that.
