With the College Football Playoff Rankings officially released, Week 10 will feature some hyped match-ups that are sure to shake things up. Here is everything you need to know.

If you took a look at the college football schedule prior to the season, Week 10 would have jumped off the page. It’s been circled by many teams for months and the time has finally come for some to put their season on the line.

On Saturday, all of college football nation will stop and tune-in when the Alabama Crimson Tide travel to Death Valley to face-off against LSU under the lights. The winner has a clear path to the SEC Championship game and possibly a spot in the Playoffs.

West Virginia bounced back from a loss to Iowa State by destroying Baylor at home, but the Mountaineers have a much bigger test this weekend in Austin, Texas.

In the Big Ten, Penn State will travel to play a Michigan team that has lit fire since losing to Notre Dame in the season opener.

Finally, the SEC East will try to compete with their big brothers in the West when Georgia heads to Kentucky looking to take control of the division.

If you have something to get done on Saturday, you better do it done before 3:30, because these are four college football games no fan will want to miss.

With both teams fighting to secure a spot in the Big 12 Championship game, expect to see West Virginia and Texas put it all on the line.

West Virginia is coming off a dominate victory over Baylor, but even in such a lop-sided victory they displayed a glaring flaw. The Mountaineers simply have no ability to run the football, which is something they must do this Saturday to open up the field for Will Grier and company. Head coach Dana Holgorson knows Texas will want to mimic Iowa State by dropping coverage and forcing the Mountaineers to run the ball, so the key this weekend will be for WVU to turn things around in that department.

While West Virginia may have one hole in its prolific offense, the same can be said about the Texas defense. Last weekend, Oklahoma State quarterback Tyler Cornelius torched the Longhorns secondary and helped the Cowboys come away with the upset victory. If Texas doesn’t address the issue this week, quarterback Will Grier will shred this defense and have fun doing it. That said, the Texas offense will have their hands full as well. The West Virginia defense has been playing like the best unit in the Big 12, so it will be on quarterback Sam Ehlinger to find some holes and try to keep up with the Mountaineers on the scoreboard.

Although West Virginia looked pitiful against Iowa State, it could have been the wake up call they needed. Expect Will Grier to light it up in Austin this weekend and help the Mountaineers take control of the Big 12.
