4. Bournemouth continue great start, beat United

Bournemouth have kept up their impressive start to the season and on Saturday they face another big test as they host Manchester United at the Vitality Stadium. The Cherries are three points ahead of United in the league, and there’s no reason they can’t extend that with a win.

Jose Mourinho’s side haven’t been great this season. Last weekend, they got a good win at home to Everton but with their current form it’s hard to tell whether they’ll be able to get back-to-back wins.

Bournemouth are scoring plenty of goals and except for one poor performance at Burnley, Eddie Howe’s side have been magnificent. In three home matches against Manchester United they’ve won one and lost two. However, they’ve never faced the Red Devils in form this good.

Callum Wilson, Josh King and David Brooks have all been scoring goals for the south coast side while Ryan Fraser is playing a vital role in assisting his teammates. They definitely have the firepower to net at least once against United, but they’ll need to be strong defensively.

Both sides haven’t been great at the back this season so it’s unlikely this one will finish goalless. Bournemouth will probably never have a better chance to beat Manchester United, and they’ll probably never feel this confident going into a match against United.

Mourinho can’t keep losing matches as his side will never gain momentum and that could jeopardize his already-limited job security. This weekend his side will stumble to another defeat as Bournemouth demonstrate why they deserve to be ahead of United in the table.
