DraftKings NFL Week 10 Lineup
By Joe Romano
Wide Receivers
Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons @ Cleveland Browns – $8300
It is amazing that Julio Jones is a top ten scoring fantasy wide receiver with only a single touchdown. There is a strong chance that Jones touchdown starts producing at the level of his catches and yards. The fact that he gets a Cleveland defense that ranks tenth in points per game to receivers should help. The offense in Atlanta likes to spread the ball around inside the red zone but Jones production without the touchdowns is more than enough to keep up with his price tag.
Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints @ Cincinnati Bengals – $8100
There is a case to be made that Michael Thomas is playing like the best receiver in the NFL. Drew Brees looks Thomas’ way early and often. It would have been nice if Dez Bryant was able to play to take some pressure from Thomas, unfortunately that won’t happen this year. Regardless of who is opposite him, Thomas is going to continue to shine. He gets a Cincinnati defense that ranks sixth in points allowed to receivers. He and Brees are a great stack in what could turn into a shoot out.
DaVante Adams, Green Bay Packers vs Miami Dolphins – $7800
Another receiver with a lack of an elite target opposite him is DaVante Adams of the Packers. It has not mattered as Adams is still a top-five fantasy option this season. With Aaron Rodgers health coming around and the emergence of the young pass catchers, it should open up more opportunity for Adams. They play a Dolphins defense that has been tough against the pass but Adams target share will make up for the tough matchup.
A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals vs New Orleans Saints – $7600
Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals vs New Orleans Saints – $7500
The two Bengals receivers get lumped in together because A.J. Green has already been ruled out for this game. That gives budding star Tyler Boyd a chance as the team’s top option. Boyd will likely draw the attention of Marshon Lattimore. Luckily John Ross is returning to the linenup and should take some safety attention from Boyd. Regardless of Lattimore’s presence, receivers have feasted on the Saints. Consider Boyd a safe play and Ross is a name to keep an eye on.
Value Wide Receivers
DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins @ Green Bay Packers – $4200
This is a good week to find value at the reciver position. It starts with former first round pick DaVante Parker of the Miami Dolphins. He has not lived up to his draft stock but the talent is there. Now that he is healthy, and trade rumors are behind him, he is an intriguing option this week. He gets a weak Packers secondary who will be without Kevin King for this week. Parker is a boom or bust player but should see plenty of targets in a positive game flow.
Antonio Callaway, Cleveland Browns vs Atlanta Falcons – $4000
Like Parker, Antonio Callaway is a talented receiver who needs to come into his own. The difference is Callaway is a rookie late-round pick who is playing limited snaps in his first season. This week looks like the perfect chance for Callaway to show off his big play ability. Atlanta ranks third in points surrendered to opposing receivers. With plenty of attention going to Jarvis Landry and the safety position a concern in Atlanta, this game screams for Antonio Callaway to catch a deep one.
Maurice Harris, Washington Redskins @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $3900
A week ago Maurice Harris burst onto the fantasy scene for 124 yards for the Washington Redskins. Harris has been playing a bigger role than expected thanks to the injuries to Paul Richardson and Jamison Crowder. Both players appear unlikely to play Sunday which means more chances for Harris. The matchup is great with the Buccaneers secondary that looks like it cannot stop anyone this season. Harris is in line for plenty of targets and should easily outperform his near-minimum price tag.
