Fantasy Football, Week 11: Best lineup with start/sit advice
By Dylan Broady
Christian McCaffrey, Carolina Panthers
Stats: 579 rushing yards, 4 touchdowns, 439 receiving yards, 4 touchdowns
Here we are in Week 11 and guess who had a huge Week 10? Mr. McCaffrey. He has been a huge spark plug for this Carolina offense in 2018. His fantasy value is sky-high right now and his owners need to take full advantage of his usage. McCaffrey has such a large volume share for the Panthers, he is a must-play every single week. Who doesn’t love this guy? He has been a steal this season. Week 11 is another great opportunity.
In the other corner we have the mighty Detroit Lions. Just kidding, but they are good against the pass, which doesn’t help because McCaffrey is in the top five among running backs in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
However, the Lions are 28th-ranked against the rush. This smells like an amazing opportunity on Sunday in the dome for this Panthers offense. So far this season the Lions allow an average of 132 rushing yards and 362 yards per game overall. This is the best running back matchup and should be exploited by all fantasy owners if possible. If you’re playing against him, watch out for another big game for McCaffrey.
This season McCaffrey has averaged 64 rushing yards per game and 48 receiving yards. What McCaffrey lacks in rushing yards he makes up for in receiving yards. Which puts him in a small category of backs that can hurt you through the air and on the ground. We love the decision to feature him this week as he has proven to be a very reliable fantasy asset with a very high floor and great volume. Week 11 should be no different.
Prediction: 75 rushing yards, 50 receiving yards, 2 total touchdowns.
