Anthony Miller, WR, Chicago Bears

Stats: five receptions, 122 years, one touchdown and six targets

The Chicago Bears offensive attack has looked much different than last year. It’s a unit that not only has a new leader in Matt Nagy, but also has plenty of new faces at the wide receiver position. One of those new faces is rookie Anthony Miller.

This young receiver is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential. However, this past weekend’s game showed the type of development he has gone through since the start of the season.

Miller is now one of the Bears more important weapons and someone who is a major big-play threat. He adds another element to this offense and makes life easier on quarterback Mitch Trubisky.

A great example of that was his 55-yard touchdown reception this week which included a few broken tackles.

It’s been interesting to see how the Bears have spread out their targets. There hasn’t really been one specific player who has dominated the looks. However, Miller is someone who doesn’t need a ton of touches to make his mark.

This week upcoming matchup against the Minnesota Vikings is a tough one, but Miller should draw some easier coverage. I’d expect the physical Xavier Rhodes to follow Allen Robinson which would leave a lesser player on Miller.
