College football betting guide, Week 12: How to bet every Top 25 game

How to bet on the snow games and the rest of Saturday’s Top 25 games

No. 19 Utah at Colorado

First potential snow game on the slate. I’m glad this will be my first snow weather prediction. Teams will have to rely on their running game for the inclement weather and the Utes have a better rushing offense than Colorado who reportedly fired their head coach earlier this week. I like the under and the Utes.

Bet: Utah (-7) (Under 48)

No. 23 Utah State at Colorado State

The state of Colorado is on snow alert. Utah State is hot right now and has a better rushing offense than the Rams. The total is quite large if the weather holds, the under is a great bet. Utah State quarterback Jordan Love will have a couple hundred yards passing but look for the Aggies defense and rushing to control the game.

Bet: Utah State (-28) (Under 68.5)

Indiana at No. 4 Michigan

If it rains or snows, Karan Higdon and the Michigan rushing offense will be ready for our third and final snow game. This will be the third week in a row Michigan wins with the final score of 42-7. Under and Michigan is a great play here.

Bet: Michigan (-28) (Under 53)

No. 20 Boston College at Florida State

Still going to continue betting against the Seminoles, because it’s the best bet in college football. The over/under is a toss up if running back AJ Dillon plays for Boston College. If not, I like the under, if he does, I like the over slightly.

Bet: Boston College (-1.5) (Under 48)

UMass at No. 5 Georgia

Georgia’s 1-2 punch of D’Andre Swift and Elijah Holyfield continue rushing and mowing over defenses. The Bulldogs don’t really run up the score on inferior opponents. Georgia scores in the 40’s, unless UMass manages a couple of scores, the game will go over, I don’t see that happening from Georgia’s stingy defense.

Bet: Georgia (-41.5) (Under 65.5)

Oregon State at No. 18 Washington

The Huskies haven’t blown out many teams in the Pac-12 this season but this could be an opportunity for that against the woeful Beavers defense. Oregon State can score, but they’ll be tested against Washington’s defense. I don’t predict an upset, but I think Oregon State can cover the big spread.

Bet: Oregon St (+33) (Under 58)

Duke at No. 2 Clemson

This is a low spread for a game in Death Valley for the Tigers. Clemson’s defense has been on point all season and should manage the Blue Devils offense with ease. Trevor Lawrence and the Tigers should have little trouble covering the spread aginst Duke.

Bet: Clemson (-28.5) (Over 57)

Kansas at No. 6 Oklahoma

That spread is a little too large for Oklahoma’s defense that has been a sore spot all year. Kyler Murray and Oklahoma’s rushing attack will put up points but Kansas will put up some points too. I can see the Jayhawks scoring into the 20’s so I’m gonna take the points.

Bet: Kansas (+36) (Over 69)

Rice at No. 7 LSU

LSU has scored over 45 points only once this season and that was against Ole Miss. Rice has no chance of winning the game, but they win against the spread. The under is a great play since this game will be a 35-7 LSU win.

Bet: Rice (+42) (Under 52)
