9. Eli Manning vs Tampa Bay

Hear me out. Eli was back last week! Penalties were a big help but 6/9 for 69 yards on a game-winning drive is pretty nice from the quarterback everyone wants to replace. Who does Manning get right after? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that horrendous secondary! Win!

Odell Beckham Jr. stands by the belief that it all started with one and they just had to win seven straight. I see them winning at least two straight because if any team is more confused than the Giants it’s Tampa Bay.

I still chuckle thinking about the fact that the Giants were the last team to beat the Texans, who have won six straight. That was Eli’s best outing of the year going 25-of-29 for 297 yards and a pair of scores. Monday wasn’t the same but even with going 19-of-31 Manning finished with three touchdowns and zero turnovers and his third highest QBR of the year. He also was only sacked once, something that had only happened once this season prior to this week.

The Giants go through Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley. It was a quiet week for Barkley though who didn’t register a score on the night. Beckham on the other hand, had a pair of touchdowns to double his season total. We talked about the Chiefs realizing how vital Hunt is. Eli is finding Beckham Jr. at the right time.

Can they win two straight? Eli will have another good week if they’re bound to.
