Fantasy Football 2018: 10 matchups to attack in Week 11
By Connor Ulrey
Last week brought us some high flyers and some major disappointments. What matchups this week should mean big end totals?
We took a couple minor losses last week, sheesh Jets defense presented bad matchups, but we’re back! Week 11. The panic is gone as the big showdown between Kansas City and Los Angeles has been moved to Los Angeles from Mexico City. Hmm, all it took was a few players threatening to sit out and boom field change.
Week 11 presents a lot of interesting matchups with top fantasy players set for huge weeks. Will your top guys have the right matchups as playoffs approach? Let’s dive in.
Steelers D/ST vs Jacksonville
The revenge game! This game got flexed from the Sunday Night Football slot mostly due to the Jaguars being a massive disappointment…sorry Chaps. It hasn’t been easy for the Jaguars and it doesn’t get easier this week.
The Le’Veon Bell situation seems to be finally over and that’s a sigh of relief for the entire Steelers locker room. Bonus points to the defense who have finally started to play the way they felt they could all season. The AFC North looks like a lock for Pittsburgh but even with winnable games currently on the slate they have a tough stretch coming up with the Chargers, Saints and Patriots back-to-back-to-back.
Last week was the best outing for this defense and special teams which absolutely dominated Carolina from the jump and that game was over within a few moments. That’s no slouch in Carolina who was 6-2 coming in but Big Ben was a force to be reckoned with. I see Pittsburgh running away with this one if the Jaguars offense can’t put up points early. I like Pittsburgh overall in this matchup and they could be a big point getter among defenses this week.
