High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Damian Lillard (at WAS – $9,300): Needs 43.1 fantasy points. Lillard was down to 29 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Nov. 16. The Blazers have been up-and-down recently, but Lillard is still a high ceiling player against a great matchup. The Wizards are still a mess. No one can convince me otherwise. And Lillard always plays well against them, averaging 50.2 fantasy points in his last three games. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a great matchup. Trust him to bounce back.

John Wall (vs POR – $9,100): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. Wall had 30.75 fantasy points against the Nets on Nov. 16. As I just mentioned, the Wizards are a mess and I don’t trust them on a game-to-game basis. He had 36.5 fantasy points against Portland on Oct. 22. Typically, Wall gets his numbers. But I’m just not certain they will be there on Sunday. Diagnosis: Always a high ceiling, but trusting Washington against a good team feels dirty.

CJ McCollum (at WAS – $6,400): Needs29 fantasy points. McCollum has been up and down in his last four games. He was down against the Timberwolves on Nov. 16. If the trend continues, he’ll be back up on Sunday. The matchup is certainly a good one as the Wizards don’t play any defense. McCollum has been inconsistent this season, but I’ll trust him at this salary with this matchup. Diagnosis: Slight risk, but I like him on Sunday.
