Players costing over $6,250

Bradley Beal (vs POR – $7,700): Needs 34.1 fantasy points. With everything going on in Washington, Beal hasn’t been so bad. His scoring and rebounding typically keep him around value. And he does very well against this matchup, averaging 51.7 fantasy points in his last three games against Portland. A lot of positive signs for Beal heading into Sunday. Diagnosis: Proven matchup, typically reliable, and a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (at SA – $7,200): Needs 31.9 fantasy points. I still don’t know what’s going on with the Warriors right now, but I know you can count on Thompson to deliver. The shots will be there, and aside from Durant, he’s the only reliable scorer on the team. The Spurs are good, but their defense has been a mess. Expect Thompson to rack up plenty of points. Diagnosis: The points will be there and he’ll do enough in other categories to be nicely over value.

Josh Richardson (vs LAL – $6,700): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. Richardson looked more like himself against the Pacers, contributing 40 fantasy points. He’s Miami’s best scorer and they really need his scoring right now. The Lakers are on a back-to-back and an east coast road trip. They are playing better, but the circumstances are a little rough for them on Sunday. Diagnosis: Nice salary and a high ceiling.
