29. Sam Darnold (LW: 31)

Darnold should be back off New York’s bye week, taking on a lackluster New England defense. Look, the Jets’ season is already cooked, but the fanbase can feel good about something if Darnold plays really well over the last six games. Right now, he’s got 10 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

28. Brock Osweiler (LW: 30)

Osweiler has been exactly what we all thought he would be, to semi-quote the great Dennis Green. The Dolphins are 5-5, and Osweiler has shown brief glimpses of competency along with staggering stretches of ineptitude. If Ryan Tannehill doesn’t come back soon, it’s all she wrote for Miami.

27. Nick Mullens (LW: 26)

Mullens had a great first start, but to be fair, that’s also because he was playing the Raiders. Oakland might not be able to beat the local high school team at the moment. Regardless, he’ll get a chance to pad stats and look decent against a Buccaneers defense that allowed 38 points to the Giants on Sunday.

26. Lamar Jackson (LW: NA)

Jackson won his first NFL start, beating the Bengals and their league-worst defense. The concern here is that Jackson was only 13-of-19 for 150 yards with a touchdown, while running the ball 27 times. That’s not a winning formula over an extended period of time.
