31. . Quarterback. Oregon. Justin Herbert. 5. player

The New York Giants won their second game in a row on Sunday, as the offense looked very good in a 38-35 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Of course, the Giants were aided by the fact that Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was a turnover machine, but still, a win is a win, and they now sit at No. 5 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.

During the course of the season, we have seen spurts from Eli Manning, who has become a legend during his time with the Giants. However, he is definitely not the long-term solution at the position, and while he has played better in recent weeks, this team has to start looking towards the future.

The best draft-eligible quarterback in college football this season is Justin Herbert, but there is no indication that he is going to forgo his final year of eligibility to head to the NFL. The rumor is that he wants to play a year with his brother at Oregon, but until he says that, we have to include him in our mock drafts.

With the Giants, Herbert would be able to study a year under Manning, whose contract will run out after the 2019 NFL season. That would be the best-case scenario for the young man, who has all the talent in the world, but is not ready to step in and start at the NFL level in year one.
