Antonio Callaway, WR, Cleveland Browns

Stats: four receptions, 62 yards and one touchdown

The Cleveland Browns offense had a breakout performance against a pretty terrible Cincinnati Bengals defense. Cleveland was able to attack both on the ground and through the air. Bake Mayfield looked more comfortable than at any point this season.

Part of Mayfield’s success came when targeting fellow rookie Antonio Callaway. The pair seem to have solid chemistry that is building.

Callaway is a bit of an inconsistent performer, but he has the potential to be a major contributor down the stretch. The Browns are looking towards the future and trying to find key pieces to put around Mayfield.

The wide receiver corps is a major question mark at this point. Jarvis Landry is in for the long haul, but the rest of the group is up in the air. Callaway absolutely has the talent to establish himself as a go-to option moving forward.

It’s been an interesting past few weeks for the Browns offense. Particularly, the usage of Landry has stood out.

Mayfield hasn’t looked Landry’s way as often as one would expect. This past weekend Landry only saw five targets which matched Callaway. It’s possible that Callaway gets more looks over the next few weeks.
