Fantasy Football, Week 13: High value plays for DraftKings

Matt Breida, San Francisco 49ers, $5,800

Stats: 738 rushing yards, 3 touchdowns, 158 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns

Matt Breida has taken up the mantle as lead back this season for the San Francisco 49ers. His stats are nowhere near eye-popping but he has done a fine job the past two weeks rushing for over 100 yards per contest. Breida will look to extend his streak of 100 rushing yards to three games when he will take on the Seahawks’ 22nd-ranked rush defense.

The Seahawks have been an inconsistent team all season. They are coming off a huge win against the Carolina Panthers, but they allowed running back Christian McCaffrey to go off for 237 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns. Breida a similar style running back could hit major paydirt this weekend.

Breida is averaging 67 rushing yards per game this season. This matchup could not only boost his overall fantasy production but help his team to a big win against a division rival. Breida has been the victim of injury for not only himself but his starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

The 49ers need a big win in Week 13 to help their morale and fanbase deal with the big losses on offense. This win could help in many ways going forward. Even though their playoff hopes are gone they can still fight for a couple more meaningful wins. Breida has great value on DraftKings this week and needs to be utilized.

Prediction: 100 rushing yards, 50 receiving yards, 2 total touchdowns
