4. Bet on the Texans -6 vs. Cleveland

Everyone was ready to bury Bill O’Brien after Houston’s 0-3 start. Since then, the Texans have reeled off eight wins a row. They may not be quite as good as that 8-3 record, but they’ve got more than enough firepower to knock off the Browns.

In fairness to Cleveland, they’ve played better football after getting rid of Hue Jackson. Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb can help the Browns put up some points in this game. Do not expect it to become a defensive struggle.

The challenge for the Browns is trying to contain Deshaun Watson and the Texans offense. Expect the athletic quarterback to have a big day. If you own Deandre Hopkins on your fantasy team you could be in for a really big day. Denzel Ward is a talented corner, but he’s not going to be able to cover Hopkins for the length of time necessary to keep him quiet.

This is not a line you should play with. We like the Texans -6, but if it moves past one single score you should favor the Browns. The smart play is to give up the six points and wait for the Texans to win a pretty comfortable game.
