Baltimore Ravens @ Atlanta Falcons (-1)

The Atlanta Falcons are done. There’s no problem with losing to the Saints, but it did put a dagger into this team’s season. There will likely be a fire sale in the offseason, that will cost Dan Quinn, Steve Sarkisian and probably a lot of the players. Things were supposed to be different this season, but the Falcons just never showed up.

On the other side, the Ravens are very much in this races. Sources say that Lamar Jackson will start another game. John Harbaugh refuses to say whether that’s true or not, so we will have to go with sources. The Ravens have been a hard team to trust this season, but Jackson is currently undefeated as the starter.

This one will be close, as the line suggests. Quinn won’t go down without a fight, and Matt Ryan has probably convinced himself a 9-7 team can make the playoffs. It might be true, but there is no way the Falcons run the table. There are too many issues. The Falcons will come up short like they were paying in the red zone all game.

Chicago Bears (-4.5) @ New York Giants

This one is up in the air at most sports books, but Unibet put the line at the dreaded -4.5. The New York Giants have been feisty, but after last week’s back-breaking defeat things may go differently. They will continue to have Saquon Barkley because they want to give him the best chance to win Offensive Rookie of the Year. Odell Beckham is usually better when something is on the line. Eli Manning is still himself.

What’s really hovering over this game is the status of Mitch Trubisky. He is extremely close to returning, but his status remains up in the air. Chase Daniel was fine in his absence, but it was against the Detroit Lions. Obviously it’s been the defense who keeps the team in the game, but they need the offense to do something.

The Giants are just outmatched here. Even if Daniel starts, it’s an easy bet on the Chicago Bears. That front seven alone will give Manning nightmares. The rest of this offense is not good enough to compete, especially with offensive line issues.
