DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Dec. 1, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Stephen Curry (at DET – $9,000): Needs 41 fantasy points. Bad news, NBA players. Steph Curry is back. It’s fair to wonder how he’ll look coming off the injury, but remember just how good he was prior to the injury and look at the matchup. The Pistons have a solid defensive team, but are on a back-to-back. And Curry is at a reasonable salary given how good he is. He’ll be able to work himself back into the lineup and get his shots. Diagnosis: Coming off the injury would be concerning if he wasn’t playing next to Durant and Thompson. He’ll cook.
Kyle Lowry (at CLE – $8,400): Needs 39 fantasy points. Lowry had 46 fantasy points against the Warriors on Nov. 29. The matchup is much easier this time around as the Cavaliers defense is terrible and they are on a back-to-back. Lowry had 45.25 fantasy points against them on opening night. The assists will be there and he’ll do enough in other areas to have a strong game. Diagnosis: Reliable, great matchup, good ceiling.
Chris Paul (vs CHI – 7,900): Needs 36.7 fantasy points. Paul had 39.75 fantasy points in just 28 minutes in his return to the lineup against the Spurs. The Bulls are another good matchup for him and the Rockets, despite their defensive issues, continue to roll on offense. He’ll shoot better against Chicago, although his assists might be down. Diagnosis: Good salary and a great matchup. Always has a high usage rate.
