DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Dec. 1, 2018
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,250
Zach LaVine (at HOU – $8,200): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. LaVine had a rough night on Friday, coming up with just 23.5 fantasy points. I’m going to chalk it up to an off-night and expect him to bounce back given the matchup. The Rockets defense isn’t suddenly fixed just because the Spurs are a mess. If you don’t trust LaVine to bounce back, you can always go with Harden because he’s Harden. He’ll cost a lot more, but he’s still Harden. Diagnosis: I don’t trust the Rockets defense and LaVine has been a good scorer this season.
Bradley Beal (vs BKN – $8,000): Needs 35.7 fantasy points. Beal had just 25 fantasy points against the Sixers on Friday. The Wizards were a mess again, but the Nets defense isn’t good and they played a double-overtime game on Friday. The Wizards have proven that they can score when they want. I don’t trust their defense, but their offense will do enough thanks to the Wall-Beal combo. Diagnosis: Much like LaVine, trust him to bounce back against this matchup.
D’Angelo Russell (at WAS – $7,200): Needs 32.8 fantasy points. Russell had 45.75 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Friday. As I just mentioned, they went to double OT so the legs could be a bit tired. But the Wizards have offered no defense all season and I don’t see that changing here. Russell has been solid since LeVert’s injury and is reliable to get points and assists. Diagnosis: Matchup is good despite the back-to-back.
