High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Russell Westbrook (at DET – $11,400): Needs 47.7 fantasy points. Westbrook was down to 39.4 fantasy points against the Hawks but played just 27 minutes in the blowout. This one shouldn’t be a blowout, which means Westbrook’s minutes will be up. And given his ability to post numbers in all categories, you can count on him to deliver on Monday. Diagnosis: It’s Westbrook. Numbers are rarely an issue for him and a huge game is always possible.

John Wall (at NY – $9,500): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. Wall had 50.5 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 1. He had 49.9 fantasy points against the Knicks on Nov. 4. The Wizards have been all over the place this season, but Wall is typically good for his numbers. And it’s the Knicks. You can always take advantage of the Knicks, I don’t care if they just beat the Bucks. Diagnosis: Good matchup and a high ceiling. Not always reliable.

Chris Paul (at MIN – $8,200): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. Paul has looked solid since returning to the lineup two games ago despite playing limited minutes in blowouts. His scoring is down, but assists are there. And in the Houston offense, he always gets his chances. The Timberwolves are better, but I have my doubts about them in this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
